I was talking to my mother about Christmas this year. My sister’s got some boundary-stomping in-law drama going on, and I told Mom that between that drama and my own drama, this could be the most interesting Christmas ever.
“Take pictures,” she told me.
“The way I see it,” I said, “anyone who knows the situation isn’t going to ask questions when Eddie’s not there, and those who don’t will just have to live with the answer “he’s not feeling well’.”
“Probably right. Don’t let them get to you. Spend the whole day and hold your head up high. And really make them think by talking to all of them!”
